What is 3D Secure?

3D Secure (personal identity authentication service) means that when you make a credit card payment, you can enter your credit card information and a password that only the person registered with the credit card issuer can identify, so that a third party can't fraudulently make purchases.

This is a mechanism to prevent unauthorized use. To use 3D Secure, you need to register and activate it with the credit card issuing bank. We recommend that you activate it to use online payment services more securely.

If you have registered for 3D Secure, you may be asked to enter a 3D Secure (personal authentication service) security code when making a credit card payment. If you don't know your 3D security password, please contact your credit card issuing bank.

How to use 3D Secure?

When using it, please check the following points:

  • The issuing bank supports the 3D authentication mechanism.
  • You have pre-registered and activated 3D authentication (set up a security code) with the issuing bank.
  • It is available at online merchants that support 3D authentication.
  • The name of 3D Secure (personal identity authentication service) may vary by credit card issuing bank.

The 3D Secure credit card payment process is as follows:

  1. Select credit card payment method: After confirming the product for online purchase, choose credit card as the payment method.

  2. Input information: Enter necessary information on the credit card checkout page, including contact details, credit card information, and transaction amount.

  3. 3D Secure authentication page: Upon completing the above steps, the 3D Secure authentication page of the issuing bank will be displayed, requiring you to enter the pre-registered password for verification.

  4. 3D Secure authentication: Enter the pre-registered password and complete the 3D Secure authentication. Ensure that the entered password matches the pre-registered one, or the authentication will fail.

  5. Verification completion: Only after the approval is shown on the 3D Secure result notification page can you proceed with the credit card checkout. You will also be notified of the outcome.

The credit card 3D authentication has failed.What should I do?

If the credit card identity verification (3D Secure) fails,please check the following possible factors:

  1. Unregistered personal authentication password
    • If you have not registered for the "personal authentication password" for 3D Secure service, the card's personal authentication will fail.
    • Please apply for registration of the "personal authentication password" with the card company.
  2. Incorrect personal authentication password
    • If you have already registered for the "personal authentication password" for 3D Secure service, but enter an incorrect "personal authentication password," the card's personal authentication will fail.
  3. The chosen card does not support personal identity verification service (3D Secure)
    • If the card does not support the personal identity verification service (3D Secure), please try using another credit card.

Please contact the card company to verify whether the selected credit card supports the identity verification service (3D Secure).

Card cannot be accepted?

  • Please re-select your payment method and try the payment again.
  • Do not perform any button operations or page navigation during the 3D secure authentication.
  • The screen may not have loaded correctly.
  • Restart your device and try the payment again.
  • Please operate in a stable communication environment (e.g., Wi-Fi).
  • 3D authentication registration is not complete.
  • To use 3D Secure, you need to register and activate it with your credit card company.
  • Please check if your registration is complete.
  • Incorrect 3D authentication security password.
  • If you don't know your 3D authentication security password, please contact your credit card company (bank).

Unable to make a payment by credit card

The following are possible reasons for the credit card payment error:

  • Reached usage limit
  • Please check the daily usage limit and monthly usage limit.
  • Incorrect credit card input
  • Please double-check that you have entered the expiry date and card number correctly.
  • 3D authentication (personal identity authentication service) not executed properly
  • When performing 3D authentication, do not perform any button operations or page navigation.
  • The card you selected does not support the authentication service
  • If you exceed the number of attempts allowed to enter the correct password, the authentication will fail, and you will be unable to accept the credit card payment.
